All Night Time Modern Cloth Nappies by My Little Gumnut come with one five-layered bamboo charcoal insert (made with 2 layers of bamboo charcoal and 3 layers of microfiber for maximum absorbency). The combination of bamboo and charcoal works to quickly draw any moisture away from the skin and into the thirsty microfiber, keeping babies skin dry for the whole night through.

The natural fibers used make these boosters soft to touch and quick drying. As baby gets older, you can double up these boosters to obtain the most absorbency and keep baby dry and comfortable during the night.

Night Time bamboo charcoal boosters can also be used singularly for heavy wetters, long car trips etc. These boosters will fit into the pocket of all My Little Gumnut Cloth Nappies however are most effective when used with Night Time Modern Cloth Nappies.

PLEASE NOTE: Our Bamboo Charcoal Inserts should be washed 6-7 times before use to ensure they are at their maximum absorbency level. 

Liners

Modern Cloth Nappies come complete and ready to use, however you may wish to add a liner to assist with clean up. My Little Gumnut bamboo liners are specifically designed to catch the solids and make the clean-up process easier and quicker for you.

They have created 2 designs of liners to suit your specific needs:

• Bio-Liners are designed as a single-use liner. After use, simply dispose of the solids into the toilet then dispose of the liner into the bin or compost.
• Reusable Bamboo Liners are designed to be used over and over again. After use, simply dispose of the solids into the toilet, rinse the liner under the tap and wash with your reusable nappies.

Manufacturer's Recommended Care Guide

Caring for your MCN’s is pain-free with these 4 easy steps:

1. Rinse off any solids (or remove solids with your Flushable Bamboo Liner)
2. Place in a dry bucket with a lid
3. Machine wash with your usual detergent (a quarter to half a scoop only)
4. Line dry in the sun.

The sun will act as a natural disinfectant and draw out any stains, eliminating the need to use whiteners, brighteners or softeners. Always wash your MCN’s 2-3 times before use to boost the absorbency of the inserts.

PLEASE NOTE: We recommend washing nappies in cold water and line drying in the sun. If you prefer to wash in warm water, the water temperature should never exceed 40 degrees Celsius. Never dry your outer shells in the dryer.
