Why we love this kit
Which Model size menstrual cup do I choose?
As women we all know we are made differently, from woman to woman. The JuJu Menstrual Cup comes in 4 sizes to ensure a comfortable, secure fit for all women - no matter what age you are, or what your body has been through. The manufacturer has set out the below guidelines to help you choose the JuJu cup that's right for you...
Model One is the smallest size and Model Four is the widest. While there are no hard and fast rules for selecting a model size, model selection is generally based on childbearing history but many other factors such as age, anatomy and pelvic floor tone may also influence your cup size selection.
Model One: Recommended if you are under 30 and have not given birth.
Model Two: Recommend if you are over 30 or have given birth, regardless of your age.
Model Three: Recommend if you have a high cervix or a long vaginal canal.
Model Four: Recommend if you have a low cervix or a short vaginal canal.
NOTE: Please choose your model carefully. For hygiene reasons, menstrual cups may not be exchanged if the incorrect size has been selected. For information & tips on how to determine your cervix position, insertion methods and methods of storage & cleaning, please see our FAQs.
Use & Care Instructions:
For menstrual cup - during your menstrual cycle, wash your cup with soap and warm water after emptying it and before reinserting it (avoid fragranced soaps). When your cycle has finished, disinfect your cup using the JuJu Cup Cleansing Wash. For other methods, please see our FAQs.
For menstrual pads - after use rinse until water runs clear. Store in either a dry bucket or wet bag until ready to wash (can be soaked in water only if preferred). Machine wash, either separately, with your clothes or with similar items (i.e. nappies). Line dry in the sun. Wet Bag is also machine washable and can be popped into the wash with pads.
PLEASE NOTE: The sun will act as a natural disinfectant and stain remover. Cold water only is recommended for washing your cloth pads as hot water can set bloodstains in fabric. Minimal detergent is recommend as too much detergent can clog the fabrics, making them less absorbent. We recommend using a powder detergent rather than a liquid detergent.
