OUR FOUNDER

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
- Mahatma Gandhi

Thank you for joining us and welcome to the Everyday Living Eco Store. I'm Melanie Tyler and I'm very excited to bring to you a quality selection of sustainable and toxin-free solutions for your home...which are ethically produced throughout the world, and sourced from women owned and led Australian businesses.

My passion for sustainability for our planet, and our children's future, came with discovering I was pregnant with my son James over 9 years ago. I had always been conscious that we all needed to be aware of what was happening to our environment and the planet...however it wasn't until I had the responsibility of a little human's welfare that I realised I needed to do more than just be aware... I needed to do something about it! In a small yet significant way, if we all do our bit, little by little, we make a difference.

At the age of 3 my son was diagnosed with ASD, Autism Spectrum Disorder. Although my son is high-functioning, there were and still are, daily challenges. After intense research I chose to make our home environment completely toxic-chemical free. It has made a significant impact to my son's condition and our health generally. Our household has now been toxin-free for over 5 years.

My aim is to bring to you the products that will help reduce our impact on the planet, and help us all live in as toxin free an environment as possible. All the products we sell at Everyday Living Eco Store have been personally tested by me and come with my personal recommendation.

Everyday we make a choice... to go about our lives not thinking of tomorrow, or spending a part of each day on a journey toward contributing to a healthy, sustainable future - for both our children and our planet. I've chosen the latter. I hope you will join me on my journey.

OUR MISSION

At Everyday Living Eco Store we are consciously committed to supplying, designing, creating and sourcing stylish, quality products that reduce our impact on our planet...and a pleasure to use. We ensure our products are made using only natural materials and ingredients, and endeavour to source through women owned and led Australian businesses.

Only when products are not available on the Australian market do we source internationally. Our international suppliers have been carefully chosen for their ethical standards in sourcing and manufacturing processes, and ship using methods designed to reduce our carbon footprint as much as practically possible.

As part of our commitment to quality and sustainability, we do everything with care and thought. We consciously seek out ways that we can restore and protect this beautiful planet we all call home.

"Whatever you do may seem insignificant to you, but it is most important that you do it."
- Mahatma Gandhi
